Bids must be submitted by 2:00 p.m., MDT, June 1, 2011 to the City of St. George, Purchasing Department, at 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah 84770. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the City Council Chambers. There will be a pre-bid site visit (1450 South at approximately 2580 East), May 26, 2011 at 9:00 a.m., MDT.
The BID includes installation of approximately 8,600 sq. ft. of asphalt, installation of 270 feet of storm drain pipe, and related appurtenances.

A fee of $25.00 per set of Contract Documents is required from those bidders wishing to take out the Contract Documents. Make checks payable to City of St. George.
A 100% performance - labor and materials bond will be required on this project. Every BID shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, naming the City of St. George as oblige, this bid bond must be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Utah and be on a bond form acceptable to the City of St. George.
As required by St. George City Code, 1-10B-14, a signed certificate of legal work status must accompany the BID.
The City of St. George reserves the right to reject any, or all, bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid, in the interest of the City.

Pierce Industrial Park, and will meet at the Sunroc Block Plant parking lot at about 3600 South River Road, St George, Utah, on Tuesday, February 1, 2011, commencing at 4:00 p.m.
The site visit is to consider a zone change request from PD-RES (Planned Development Residential) to M-1 (Industrial) located on the east side of River Road, and generally east and north-east of the existing Sunroc Block Plant at about 3600 South River Road.
