Sealed bids will be received for the construction of the 2580 East 1450 South Intersection Improvements. Bids must be submitted by 2:00 p.m., MDT, June 1, 2011 to the City of St. George, Purchasing Department, at 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah 84770. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud in the City Council Chambers. Each BID must be submitted in a sealed envelope, addressed to City of St. George, Attn: Connie Hood, CPPO, Purchasing Manager, Purchasing Department, 175 East 200 North, St. George, Utah 84770. Each sealed envelope containing a BID must be plainly marked on the outside BID #11-0011 2580 East 1450 South Intersection Improvements.

There will be a pre-bid site visit (1450 South at approximately 2580 East), May 26, 2011 at 9:00 a.m., MDT.

The BID includes installation of approximately 8,600 sq. ft. of asphalt, installation of 270 feet of storm drain pipe, and related appurtenances.

A 100% performance - labor and materials bond will be required on this project. Every BID shall be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid, naming the City of St. George as oblige, this bid bond must be issued by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Utah and be on a bond form acceptable to the City of St. George.

As required by St. George City Code, 1-10B-14, a signed certificate of legal work status must accompany the BID.
